Hebrew Translation

Hebrew

Hebrew is a Semitic language with a long history dating back to ancient Israel. Today's Hebrew, also known as Modern Hebrew, developed from Classical Hebrew and was revived in the 19th century as an everyday language for the Jewish people. Today, Modern Hebrew is spoken as a native language in Israel and is also widely spoken in Jewish communities around the world.

Hebrew has its own alphabet, which consists of 22 consonant letters. The Hebrew vocabulary has both ancient and modern elements. Many words stem from the Hebrew Bible and have a deep religious and cultural meaning. However, the revival of the language also introduced new words and terms for modern concepts and technologies.
